Preserve Surf O‘ahu
This is an effort to preserve our surf stories in O‘ahu, which I hope will manifest into my Ph.D. dissertation, but also provide a collective archive of surfing in our era that is not driven by money or marketing, but offers some insights into why we surf and how it is important.
I plan to form a compilation of surf reports and surf news that I collected over the years while writing for a variety of news outlets and surf magazines, but also my twitter feed that extends for over a decade. I hope to post about epic days, epic waves in such a way that others will be compelled to contribute their pictures and their mana‘o about epic moments in surf that will tell a collaborative story.
